Exemplary Service

The Order of the Golden Rule is an organization of independently owned funeral homes. They send surveys to families that their members serve.  Our Grosse Pointe Woods funeral home recently received a letter from the Order of the Golden Rule, that reads in part:

Each month, we review hundreds of family responses and select comments that demonstrate a family's satisfaction with the funeral home's exemplary performance.  Then, this collection of family comments are reviewed by our regional chairpersons who choose the top three intances of member firms providing service above and beyond what is typically expected.

A. H. Peters Funeral Home is proud to have been recognized in this top tier of service to our families.  The following citation was printed in the Order of the Golden Rule's magazine The Independent September-October 2008 edition:

''I had to arrange my aunt's funeral during the 15 minutes I had while in Detroit on my way back to Tuscon.  I had very little time and no knowledge of what to do.  The director was calm, patient, helpful and got me finished in time to catch my plance back to Tucson.  He also made holy cards in record time so they made it to the service after I had forgotten to inform him of the date of the service.  Great job!''
