Jim graduated from South Lake High School in 1979. His love of cooking enabled him to become a successful chef. Not only did he love cooking he loved feeding people. He will be remembered for his larger than life character. He was kind to anyone he met and had many friends. Jim's family was extremely important to him and he talked about them often. His biggest love was for his daughter Emily. He always talked about her and would cherish spending time with her. He looked forward to their daily talks when she would get home from school. His friends were very important to him as well. Jim loved talking on the phone and made sure he stayed in contact with everyone he knew. He loved watching sports and would love to talk about the Detroit Tigers.
Jim was predeceased by his parents. He will be greatly missed by his daughter, Emily, his brother Michael, and sisters Judy, Christine, and Diane (Mike) Toner. He leaves behind his very dear friend and former spouse Stephanie who will miss him dearly.
