Frank served our country proudly in the United States Army from 1972 until 1978 as a military policeman. He married the love of his life Sue Berkesch on April 12, 1980 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church on Detroit’s east side. He served as a lieutenant for the Beaumont Hospital (Grosse Pointe) security team for the last 36 years. He was a family man who loved to travel. His sense of humor and sarcastic wit will be missed by everyone that knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife Sue. He was proud of his sons Frank III (Andrea) and Andrew; and daughter Kristen. He adored his grandson Caden. He will be missed by his sisters Mary Bonilla, Cindy Harvey, Anne Soczawa (Ron), and Karen Davis (Tom).
Visitation will be held on Friday from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm. Frank will lie instate on Saturday from 9:30 am until the time of the Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 21620 Greater Mack, St. Clair Shores. Father Rich Bartoszek will officiate. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Twp.
