Obituary

Virginia Kapell was born in Detroit on May 29, 1924 the daughter of Ignatius and Anna Jasinski. She married Edward Kendzorek in 1948 and together they raised two children, D’Anna and Dennis.

She retired from Chrysler Corporation after many years of service in the employee cafeteria. Virginia enjoyed cooking, polka dancing, and listening to her AM radio stations.

For many years the family enjoyed weekends their farm in Michigan’s Thumb in Sandusky. Fruits and vegetables were grown on this farm along with the raising of horses and cows and chickens. During the fall harvest all joined in the canning of fruits and vegetables as well as the shredding of cabbages to make sauerkraut.

After the death of her beloved Edward Kendzorek in 1967, Virginia eloped with and married John Kapell in 1969, who passed away in 1986 .

Virginia was the beloved mother of D’Anna Kendzorek and Dennis Kendzorek (the late Tammy). She was the loving grandmother of five, great-grandmother of nine and great-great-grandmother of six.
