Dianna T. "Di" Mott was born November 2, 1942 and entered into rest November 8, 2019 at the age of 77. She as a longtime resident of Grosse Pointe Woods and a proud graduate of Grosse Pointe High.

Dianna was the loving wife of the late Paul and beloved mother of Theresa, Peter (Mindy), Julianne (Jeremy) Bastien, and Stephanie (David) Gumbis. Nana to Cody, Scarlette, Annabel, Reagan, Samantha, Tatum, and Oliver. Loving sister to Lois Cardenas, and Sharon (Dr. Robert Frank) Popp, sister in law to Maryanne (Herb) Schutte and dear friend to Nik and Sue Potochnik.

Di enjoyed cooking and gardening, spending much time in her rose and vegetable garden and spoiling her beloved dog Barclay. Dianna spent most of her later years in retail sales in the village at Jacobsons, Village Shoes and Sherman Shoes. When she wasn't working she enjoyed spending time on the water fishing and walking the shores searching for stones with Paul and traveling to Canada.

A gathering of family will be held at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home. 20705 Mack Ave. at Vernier Rd, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI on Friday November 15, 2019 from 4-8 PM. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 21620 Greater Mack, St. Claire Shores, MI 48080 from 11:30 AM until time of memorial Mass at 12:00PM. Memorial contributions in Dianna's memory may be made to the Alzheimers Association. Please share a thought or memory with Dianna's family at
